This hoverboard offers a decent speed range. It can cruise at about 12km/hr. It’s important to note that the speed can change if a child is heavier or depending on the surface they’re riding on. For its affordable price and given that it’s made specifically for kids, we consider it to be a good speed.
As for distance, the Q2C Self-Balancing Scooter can go up to 10km for distance on a fully-charged battery. While this distance can vary from model to model, we think it makes sense for young kids as parents will not want them going far, far distances away. Please note that it is not meant to go off-road. While hoverboards can sometimes go across the grass, for example, this one is not designed to do so.
On a more positive note, this TOMOLOO Hoverboard is lighter in weight than some adult hoverboards, weighing only 17.6lbs. Being lightweight makes the toy easy to carry for a child when reaching school, the park, or another destination.
